Joy is Health.
Connection is Medicine.
At Thrive OT, we provide personalized enrichment-based, wellness occupational therapy that helps adults stay engaged, connected, and full of purpose. Joy isn’t extra — it’s essential.
Medical treatment is important for survival, but it often doesn’t address the social and emotional side of well-being. Too many people are left without the support they need to truly thrive. Thrive OT exists to fill that gap.

Our Approach
Enrichment is Medicine.
Thrive OT helps adults live fully, not just survive. We create personalized “Joy Prescriptions” — a mix of activities, experiences, and connections tailored to your interests, strengths, and environment.
We don’t arrive with a checklist. Instead, we bring a compassionate, collaborative approach. You are the expert in your own life. We bring professional guidance; you bring your story, your values, and your joy. Our role is to walk alongside you, helping you rediscover what lights you up.
We help you:
√ Rediscover hobbies and passions
√ Stay socially, mentally, and physically active
√ Build confidence in daily routines and roles
√ Adapt activities for cognitive or mobility changes
Every person’s Joy Prescription looks different. Our role is to help you find yours.

About Cristina
I’m Cristina, a certified occupational therapist (OTR/L) with a background in acute care. My journey into care began with my grandmother’s experience with dementia. Even with excellent medical support, she became increasingly isolated, and I saw how much true well-being depends on meaningful connection and engagement.
In my clinical work with neurodegenerative, mental health, and rehabilitation cases, I noticed the same gap — people could be medically stable but still disconnected, struggling to find purpose and joy.
These experiences inspired me to create Thrive OT: a community-based, enrichment-focused practice that prioritizes joy, connection, and meaningful engagement in everyday life. It’s the kind of care I wish had existed for my grandmother — and the kind I believe every person deserves.

About Mango
Mango isn’t just a therapy dog — he’s a true companion and morale booster. He began his journey as a 10-week-old hospital therapy puppy, offering comfort to frontline workers during the pandemic. So beloved was his presence that he earned the title “Employee Morale Specialist” and his very own badge.
In the hospital, Mango greeted new hires, joined training sessions, and became a familiar, reassuring presence. His playful, non-judgmental nature helps people relax, share feelings, and simply breathe a little easier.
At home, Mango supports therapy sessions, especially for clients experiencing sensory or cognitive changes. His gentle nudges, soft fur, and friendly presence spark memories, start conversations, and provide moments of calm and joy — reminding us that even small moments of connection can be powerful medicine.
